Have Cheap Trip in Yogyakarta Indonesia
Comments OffI was visiting Yogyakarta Indonesia two weeks ago in relation with my job as a reporter. I intended visiting various traditional markets to know the facts about traditional market life. Since I needed to visit more than one traditional market, I had to stay at a strategic place that was close to the business center but comfortable enough for me to write a report. I also needed to stay at a cheap hotel since I had limited budget. The followings are my experiences that might inspire you who are looking for cheap trip ideas.
I was staying at Duta Guest House Hotel Yogyakarta which is located in Prawirotaman. It is a strategic place since it is near with the one and only airport, and Tugu Station. The hotel is also near to some traditional market such as Prawirotaman, Beringharjo, and Kranggan market. To get to most of my destination, I used Trans Jogja, a cheap public transportation system since it was not comfortable for me to walk to on foot. Most pavements were full of sellers so that I couldn’t walk comfortably. There were too many motorcycles that made the streets were too crowded. However, the people I met at the traditional markets were friendly and nice. Most of them were helpful so that I could get information I needed easily.
The hotel was just another good story as I found it comfortable. It was not big but the staffs were very attentive. I used the hotel comparison tool at Hotelscombined.com to find the hotel. You should check this website if you need to find a hotel that meets your expectations.
